VLC Player Vulnerable to Remote Hijack | TorrentFreak

I found this interesting. I guess I had never thought about executing remote code through a stylesheet but seeing as it is basically XML this completely makes sense. The best part of the article however, is the comments that follow. In particular is the argument over what exactly proprietary means. I haven’t seen such a heated argument about something so mindless in about 3 1/2 hours.
